What is in a Species? - Frog Discoveries and Conservation

Known as "Frogman of India", Professor Sathyabham Das Biju is one of the world's leading amphibian experts who has described over 80 new amphibian species, eight new genera, and two new families. An open general lecture has been held with Prof. S. D. Biju as the main speaker on March 18, 2017 in Kampus UI Depok. The lecture also featured Prof. Jatna Supriatna (chairman of RCCC UI) and Dr. Mirza Dikari Kusrini (Bogor Agriculture University) as speakers.

He is one of the world’s most perceptive and original analysts of global development. He has worked in many areas including macroeconomics, reform, poverty, and sustainable development. He has published widely, including The New York Times Best Seller, 'The End of Poverty: Economic Possibilities for Our Time' and 'Common Wealth: Economic for a Crowded Planet.'

"Harmonizing Production Landscape and Conservation in the Era of Climate Change" by Prof. Chris Margules

Prof. Chris Margules is a researcher from Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Australia. His field of studies include environmental conservation and biodiversity of forest (terrestrial) and sea (aquatic) ecosystem. Besides, Chris Margules also work at Conservation International (CI) as Executive Director of Melanesia Center for Biodiversity Conservation.
