Indonesia National NDC workshop report

Based on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) are the necessary non-binding action plans on climate, RCCC (Research Center for Climate Change Universitas Indonesia) with Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC),  and Curtin University with financial support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia, hold  the hybrid workshop “Implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions in Indonesia: Updates, Issues and Options” in via online by zoom and offline at Floating room University of Indonesia. The Workshop was hold on Tuesday, Mei 31, 2022  from 08.30 -14.00 AM.

The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) is an autonomous international organization that works to build the resilience of people and institutions to disasters and climate change impacts in Asia and the Pacific.

In collaboration with the Research Center for Climate Change, University of Indonesia (RCCC UI), ADPC organized this workshop to understand the current status of nationally determined contributions (NDCs), the impact of climate change on key economic sectors, mitigation and adaptation targets, and challenges faced by Indonesia.

The Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has commissioned Curtin University Australia, in partnership with ADPC to develop a framework for facilitating NDCs in Indo-Pacific countries.
