Dr. Asri A. Dwiyahreni

Asri Dwiyahreni graduated from Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, University of Indonesia, and received a Master of Science from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. She has been working in the field of nature conservation for more than 20 years. She has conducted various studies and surveys of wildlife including the bear cuscus in North Sulawesi, mammals in East Kalimantan, herpetofauna in Papua, the ecology of squirrels and tree shrews in Lampung, and anoa in Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi.

Since 2011, she join as research staff at the Research Center for Climate Change, University of Indonesia, and currently she is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Mitigation-Adaptation to Climate Change: Innovative Sustainable Financing for Forestry training along with Columbia University. Sometimes, she teaching restoration ecology at Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, University of Indonesia
